End user licence agreement
This agreement is between you (an individual or the company you act for) and [legal entity name] ("we"), the maker of R2M ("the Software"). By installing or using the Software you accept it. If you do not accept it, do not install the Software.
1. Licence
- We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install the Software and to run it on as many machines at a time as your licence has seats, for the term of your licence (trial, subscription period, or perpetual for lifetime licences).
- You may use the Software for commercial work. Output you create (3ds Max scenes, renders, files) belongs to you.
- A trial licence is for evaluation and lasts 14 days.
2. Restrictions
You may not: share licences or accounts beyond your seats; resell, rent or sublicense the Software; remove or bypass licence checks; or reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software, except where the law expressly allows it despite this restriction.
3. After a licence ends
Import and Re-sync stop. Everything you already imported stays usable: imported objects are standard 3ds Max objects. Scenes that contain optional R2M Brep objects need the Software installed to display them, but never a licence.
4. Updates
Subscriptions and lifetime licences include updates published while the licence is valid. Updates are offered inside the Software; you decide when to install them.
5. Data
The Software processes your files locally and does not upload them. Licence checks send the data listed in the privacy policy.
6. Third-party components
The Software includes openNURBS (MIT licence, Robert McNeel & Associates), rhino3dm (MIT licence), CDT by Artem Amirkhanov (MPL-2.0; source available from its public repository) and other open-source components. Their own licences apply to those components.
7. No warranty
To the extent the law allows, the Software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. You are responsible for backups of your work.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or lost data), and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Software in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Termination
This licence ends automatically if you break it. You can end it at any time by uninstalling the Software.
10. Trademarks
Rhinoceros and Rhino are registered trademarks of Robert McNeel & Associates. Autodesk and 3ds Max are registered trademarks of Autodesk, Inc. The Software is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
11. Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of [country], without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
